Itinerary

DAY 01: SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM

Assistance upon arrival at Srinagar airport by our Driver representative and transfer to Pahalgam "Valley of Shepherds". Pahalgam is situated in the picturesque Lidder Valley and lays 96 kms from Srinagar by road. 7,200 ft. (2,134 m.) above sea level, it is famous for its beautiful scenery, flora and fauna, springs and streams. It is also the base for treks to the higher mountains, check in Hotel. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. Overnight stay in Hotel at Pahalgam.

DAY 02: PAHALGAM (LOCAL SIGHTSEEING) | SRINAGAR HOUSEBOAT (SHIKARA RIDE)

After breakfast first half day local sightseeing of Pahalgam on pony back or by foot at your own, later proceed to Chandanwari (18 Kms from Pahalgam) base camp of Amaranth yatra, also visit Aru valley (13 Kms from Pahalgam), Betaab valley, famous scenic beauty spot. Later proceed to Srinagar 96 kms from Pahalgam. On arrival, check in Houseboat. Later in evening enjoy the Romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake for 01 Hour and enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city, which is often compared to Venice. You will get a lovely view of some interesting places around the Lake. Overnight stay in Deluxe Houseboat at Dal Lake Srinagar.

DAY 03: SRINAGAR | GULMARG | SRINAGAR

After breakfast proceed for day trip to Gulmarg 56 kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg (8700 ft i.e. 2652 mts), known as Meadow of flowers for Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. It is one of India's premier Hill resorts. Gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty; it also turns into India's premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola Cable Car offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. On arrival explore the beauty of Gulmarg enjoy cable car ride [Gondola] upto 1st Phase Kangdoori or upto 2nd Phase Affarvat, or one can do Pony Ride (by your own). Later evening return back to Srinagar, and check in Hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.

DAY 04: SRINAGAR - SONAMARG - SRINAGAR

After breakfast proceed to Sonamarg (2740 mts) also known as The Meadow of Gold or The Gateway of Ladakh. Sonamarg is 86 Kms from Srinagar and is surrounded by colorful mountains and thick Pine forests. Thajwas Glacier is 3 Kms in the south of Sonamarg. Slopes and meadows are sparkled with the loveliest of alpine flowers, while the rich forests of fir, sycamore and birch add their lush green beauty to the scene. Along with the Pahalgam, Sonamarg is an excellent take off point for treks into the mountains and in itself is an ideal camping ground where glaciers pour down from the Himalayas. Sonamarg is also the entry point for the famous Amaranth Cave, a holy site for Hindus via Baltal Valley. Later evening back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.

DAY 05: SRINAGAR (LOCAL SIGHTSEEING)

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Srinagar City. Such as Shankaracharya Temple (Hindu Shrine) - Situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, it is nearly one thousand feet above the city, afternoon proceed for local sightseeing of the Srinagar city which includes, Mughal Gardens Shalimar Garden "Abode of Love". This garden is situated at a distance of about 15 kms from Srinagar city. The garden is situated at the banks of Dal Lake and is surrounded by Zabarwan hills in the background. The lofty Chinar trees, colorful flowers add to the beauty of this Garden. Nishat garden (Abode of Pleasure) This garden was built by Asif Khan, brother-in-law of Emperor Jahangir in 1632 AD. Nishat garden is the most visited garden of Srinagar city and is made in a Step-Wise pattern. Also visit Chashmashahi or the "Royal Spring". Later evening visitors can visit the local market of the city for Shopping. One can buy shawls and other handicraft items etc. Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.

DAY 06: SRINAGAR TO AIRPORT DROP - SERVICES END

After breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport to catch flight for onward destination with Sweet Holiday Memories. Please Note: Aru, Betaab valley and Chandanwari trip at Pahalgam (as this sightseeing is done by Local Taxi stand at Pahalgam only and is on direct payment basis). Thajwas glacier trip at Sonamarg (as this sightseeing is done by Local Taxi stand at Sonamarg only or by ponies and is on direct payment basis).
